Do you know Rachmaninoff?

Maybe you have heard a bit through the most recent Korean drama, Four Hands Two Sonatas, where Song Kang as Kang Pi-O performed Piano Concerto No. 2 in C Minor, Op. 18. Or if you watched Nodame Cantabile, Chiaki Senpai also performed the same work.
So this time, why don’t we watch and discuss Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 together?
You don’t need any classical music background to join this event. Just come! (Yes, you may bring your kids)

Are you curious about classical music but not feeling ready yet to watch a live performance in a concert hall? Do you want to introduce classical music to your kids but worried if they can’t sit still? Do you want to listen to classical music in a less formal setting?

This time, we will watch a recording of a classical music concert together. If you’re new to classical music, don’t worry! I will help explaining and as usual, questions and discussion are welcome.

For some people, classical music might sound too complicated to understand and there are too many difficult terms. Why don’t we listen and then talk about it together?
I’m collaborating with Rangka Community Cafe for this listening experience event. Whether you are new to classical music or already a fan, you’re welcome to join us! No prior knowledge needed.
